Médecins Sans Frontières is an international medical humanitarian organization working in over 60 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect or catastrophe.

Médecins Sans Frontières is constantly searching for international professionals who are ready to share some of their time and their skills for the assistance for those in need. The humanitarian work in the field is often very exhausting, but also fascinating, demanding a variety of professional and personal skills, and a large amount of motivation and commitment.

The Austrian office of MSF recruits professionals for following countries only: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Kosovo, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Slovakia or Slovenia.

We are looking for following profiles

• Female and male Medical Doctors (General Practitioners, Paediatricians, Surgeons, Anaesthesiologists,Internists, Gynaecologists)
• Midwives
• Laboratory staff
• Pharmacists
• Nursing staff (with good French skills)
• OT nursing staff
• Specialists in Technics and Logistics
• Specialists in Finance and Human Resource Management
• Mental Health Professionals

General requirements:

• Completed vocational training, with at least two years work experience (or a completed medical rotation)
• At least six to nine months availability for the first assignment (there is a minimum duration of three weeks for surgeons and anaesthetists, as well as for surgical nurses, while gynaecologists and obstetricians have a minimum stay of three months)
• Fluent English skills are essential for all profiles
• French language skills are highly appreciated
