I am an Australian pharmacist, who at 55 decided to have a change of lifestyle and pursue my wish to work in my chosen profession abroad, either in the UK or Ireland.

In Australia there are many agencies who organise placements for pharmacists abroad. A reputable firm Ravens who work through Ateam Health recruitment in the UK and Ireland have a long history of successful placements and I decided to approach them. Through Debbie in Australia, Louise in the UK and Rosanna in Ireland I was able to find many suitable positions in great locations, and after several phone interviews with employers I have obtained a great job in a rural town in central Ireland.

Ateam did more than just find me the perfect job, they arranged for work permits, Pharmacy Board approval and immigration applications, legal requirements, car purchase, accommodation and bank account advice, not only for myself but also for my wife.
